i just got back from the battle of the bands just now in Taylor's college.
when it first started, the bands playing was not only not ok, but they were pretty sucky (no offense!), the first band actually played some dodgy songs. i mean come on, everyone has a little sentimental siden them but in a rock show? c'mon, you got to be kidding me...
i got a little bored, so i went to watch football with patrick. i can't really concentrate on the game cause i was hoping for some great band to turn up. decided to get my white ass back to the Taylor's college. the last band was playing. not only that their guitarist was good but the vocalist and the songs selection was pretty good too. paradise city, are you gonna be my girl, just to name a few. bad news is, it was the last band and i just squeezed myself in the mosh pit. then this local band called dragon red turn up and they really entertained the crowd. i was in mosh pit, jumping, pushing, throwing myself at everyone. the people outside the pit looked a little annoyed and scared, i wonder why...(yeah, we tried body surfing too but it didn't really work)
then disagree took over and finished the show. they're pretty good performers actually. i simply love heavier stuffs though...my 2nd time in a mosh pit. believe me, if you haven't tried it out, you must!!! it's just amazing. by the way, the security was keeping a close eye on us...i wonder why too...
