Saturday Night Fever!
haven't been blogging for some time and it feels utterly odd. well, i will still TRY and blog.
a lot of things happened last week and it mostly involve saturday night fever. the saturday night fever dance play that's coming to KL soon. i went to almost all the night spots in kl just to get the ticket and finally, i got a pair. maybe going there with my sister, nicky or whoever that's free on that day.
what i did was, i go to nightspots and wait for the saturday night fever boogie dancers and let them do their thing (which is dancing of course, that's why we call em' dancers...)and then we wait for the host/mc to ask questions about saturday night fever. if you get one of the question right, you have 2 tickets to saturday night fever dance.
1st night (wednesday)

i went to planet hollywood to get the ticket with meng. i thought i was gonna win the ticket but someone tipped his friend about the question and i didn't manage to win. arghhhhh. life's not fair! i was like 1/2 a second slower. the feeling when watching the mr. bugger took MY tickets was too hard for me to digest. i wish i brought my Glock along. when i thought nothing's gonna be worse, they are offering ticket to people who is willing to dance. being the stage shy me, i was kind of considering about doing it...the event's over when i decided what i wanted to do.
2nd night (friday)

the boogies dancers were at the Bar Flam's and i went there a little early. when i wanted to go into Bar Flam, they kind of stopped me and told me i can't go in. fuckkkk, i was ONLY wearing a cap (not to mention slippers [but they're reebok, dammit] and tee shirt. heheeh. i didn't want to wear shoes or whateer cause i don't want to club. get it? ) i called zoe and i went to her place to pick her up so that i won't be there alone on the 2nd spot of the night, Telawi Street Bistro (TSB). when i got to zoe's house and back to bangsar again, i saw mr. bugger in TSB! [this is where they play the song for a very tense situation i.e - some retro stuff from 80's hulk) but mr bugger didn't get any seat near to the mc cause the place was packed. hahahah. it's my destiny to win the ticket. after going through a hard time waiting for the dancers to do the same dance again, i manage to win the tickets!!! of fucking course i am fucking satis'fucking'fied. i actually gave up on getting the ticket after they won't let me in Bar Flam's. now that i have the ticket, i actually feel a little cockier than usual!
3rd night (Chino's KLCC)

yeah i know, i have the ticket already. what the hell am i doing there? well zoe wants the ticket and Gan was busy so he can't get the ticket for her. since i owe her a favour, i HAD to go with her. i manage to bring christy along and to cut the long story short, zoe got the ticket and i kind of caught one of the dancer's attention (the prettiest of them of course!) and she kind of showed me to go do the saturday night fever finger pointing dance. haha. i think i have done everything now...after the ticket, me, zoe and christy and beng had a celebration party! party!!!! well, this might a little anti-climax but we didn't exactly party, just had supper at a spot in good old petaling street, but the food is good.
conclusion - we won 2 pairs of tickets! anyone who is interested to go, please call 012-3279825 cause i can't figure out who to bring yet and andrew, if you're reading this, i'm not going to bring you...go and get the tickets yourself dammit!
